an article for the sixth anniversary of the opening of the first Orthodox church in Dublin

On the closure of St. Mary’s the Blessed Sacrament, holy relics and sacred objects were removed to the house of a parishioner, where a room was made ready to shelter them. Here divine serviced were held on holy days, including days when converts were received into the Orthodox Church, while public services (mainly on Sundays) were celebrated at Gonzaga College Chapel, Sandford Road, Dublin 6 and Trinity College Chapel or the Blessed Sacrament Chapel within the College.
